The 31st of Dec 2009 was a Wednesday and my family and me attended my cousin’s Razif wedding @ the Legends in Fort Canning. There was a unique ambience and lots of laughter and I would say alil bit too modernized but nevertheless it was nice. The bride is a Chinese convert and the dinner was a mix of oriental and Indian plus western. The akad nikah of couple was join by both side of the families and numerous friends they acquired. I left early and met dearest for awhile at midnight before going of to meet my friends as they plan. I m really sorry that I couldn’t spent time with him. He spoke the most important thing that every girl wants to hear. But it’s not black and white and I didn’t see it as official. I m really sorry I had to take those words for granted. I believe in it. But I didn’t see it coming so soon no plans are concrete. And guess what I didn’t get to see any fireworks this new year.
Nur brought me a change of clothes so that I won’t be wearing the traditional clothes I wore at the wedding. I met the rest at Changi village after they left Cass friends’s birthday party. We drove to Kallang river where there was nothing else to do except hung out, talk, confide and felt sad. No one had any idea of any exciting things to do so we left for home of course not before snapping some beautiful pictures.
